STARQUEST

STARQUEST is a 2D platformer which is a final project in development for my last high school year. 

What does mean a PASSION to you? Is it something warm? Is it something what makes you happy? 

Maybe it is a STAR.

Seek your way to find your whole form and your human being who lost you by an accident.

This is the story about finding your purpose in hobbies and how to help your mind to change it in your head.

How it is going

- made a 1/2 animation for second phase of the Star

- a change script is done

- made some small changes in design of assets

- exposition animation 

- built second level of the animation 

- script done for all the stages of the star

- remaking the animation for exposition (not done yet)

- pop up windows 

The start 

The hard part on my game is probably the level designing for me, because I don't have that much experience with platformers. I wanted to challenge myself and try it to make it work.

At first I wanted a Star to have a lineart, but then I found out that it isnt working with the rest of the background, because it is more painted than drawn. 

Here you can see two phases of the Star. Every stage uses different movement such as sliding VS jumping. 

Animation for exposition 

I have been making an exposition for my project to show player a storyline behind the platformer. The style of it is a bit different then in the game. It is intentional to show something like a book or a history report that the stars really exist in us and why.

Second level

I am almost done with the second level of the game. It is functioning, but I need to make some changes in the script and assets. The enviroment is a bit flat compare to the first level.
